Francisco Simplicio
Filmmaker, Videographer, Creative.
Francisco Simplicio is a filmmaker with the objective of serving his community and contributing to radical growth. With a decade of experience, he began his roots in broadcast journalism. He was involved in a film and broadcast career pathway program with the opportunity for hands-on experience in the industry. This foundation in fast-paced environments led him to leadership roles, including leading live broadcast teams and film crews while upholding SAG-AFTRA and industry standards with a collaborative approach. He has also worked as a producer for a number of public programs, including PBS NewsHour, where his work as a journalist has since been cited by the New York Times.

Because of his affinity for camerawork, storytelling, and dance, Francisco now works as the director of New World Productions, where he also works as a dance videographer. In addition, he works as a freelance videographer and photographer, where he uplifts the artistry of the choreographers in his community. Francisco thrives in diverse production roles but remains rooted in one objective: to uphold the integrity of the narrative.
